Learn To Fly!

AMA “Intro Pilot Program”

If you think you might be interested in learning to fly radio controlled planes. The Bartow County Model Aviation Club has several AMA licensed "Intro-Pilot Instructors" willing to teach you. This Program allows us to take you up in the air a couple times without any upfront cost to you. It will help you to decide if you want to take on this great hobby. We will supply the plane, all you have to do is show up. Of course, if you decide this hobby is for you and you join BCMA, we're ready to continue on with your flight lessons and see you all the way through your Flight Proficiency Demonstrations. Ideally, a student pilot will furnish his/her own aircraft, accessories, and the radio gear for training. All the instructors are also great advisors on what to buy and what not to buy. They'll want you to start off the right way just as much as you do.

Still undecided?

Come on out to the field and take a Intro Flight or just bring the family out to watch, we always welcome visitors!
